Fall in the City...

Maybe it's because I grew up in Texas, and never really experienced a true fall. Maybe it's because I now live in Southern California where our fall is great, but mostly consists of light weight cardigans and UGG boots at night.

Whatever it is, fall has always had a sweet place in my heart.

I'm in love with everything that fall has to offer:  scarves, boots, pumpkin spice lattes, pies, and apple cider. There's something so fresh and exhilarating about waking up to a crisp fall morning with leaves of all colors floating to the ground.

It's simply enchanting to me.

This morning I'm finishing up packing for my last trip to NYC this year, and though I love all of my trips to the city; it's always a little extra special in the fall.  My bags are packed full of all the clothes I could never wear in Southern California.  I cannot wait to wake up tomorrow morning, grab some coffee to go, and head out for a fall day in NYC.

I sort of feel like the luckiest girl in the world:)  Happy Fall Friday friends...what are you doing this fine weekend?

Below are some shots from one of my favorite shoots I have gotten to do; it was at Bryant Park last fall:)
